HAPPY YOUTH DAY

Hi beloved, I hope you are still well and in good health. On this day, we celebrate the 46th anniversary of the June 16, 1976 student uprising in Soweto. Let us contribute to honour the contribution of the youth in the struggle for the liberation of South Africa, as well embrace and celebrate the legacy left behind for the current and future. Let your exceptional awesomeness and positive energy inspire confidence in others.

Release the urge to keep up. Instead, believe and trust the path you are on. The good things in store for you and your life will not pass you by. "You are fantastic; do you know that? Our freedom, in a very large measure was due to what young people such as yourselves did 40 years ago not very far from where we lived in Soweto where Hector Pieterson was shot and killed. But you are fantastic. Reach for your stars, because now you can be anything and everything you want to be." - Archbishop Desmond Tutu

If you feel a sense of discouragement with the way things are or a sense of frustration that things are not the way you want them to be, these words are for you. There are many times when we can all feel like giving in or giving up on a goal or a dream that we have worked so hard to achieve. That's why it is so important that you never forget your own why you started and why the goal is so important and why it is so necessary to see it through. Once your heart reconnects with "your why" the motivation and strength to keep going will be unleashed from within. So, always be positive in life and live it with happiness and hope. Wishing you a very Happy Youth Day. On the occasion of Youth Day, promise yourself to become a responsible youth, to work for the development and brighter future of the country. May you always shine bright! #youthday #youthmonth #youthempowerment #youthdevelopment #stayconsistent #believeit #itwillhappen

WITHDRAW TO DRAW

Blessed Sunday unto you! Despite the many voices that threatened to dilute my faith, it did not dissolve. My hope is still in the being of Christ, my power embedded in the master maker that is Lord and my heart. My heart is still pumping with purpose and everyday I look in the mirror God reminds me; "The world still needs to hear me through you." I pray you never stop seeing you in the way He sees you!

Withdraw from the masses to draw from the well that will never run dry. To retreat is as important as forming connections. Retreating helps one to reflect, introspect and evaluate.

Retreating is temporal isolation, it is a place of heightened diligence to rest on the King's bosom, to sit at His feet, to recline at the table and to ascend into the hill of the Lord. It is a place of alignment, recalibration and perspective. Christ Jesus, frequently withdrew to the wilderness to pray.

Retreat to pray! I absolutely love corporate prayers but there's a need to frequently withdraw from the masses. Christ the pattern and the standard teaches us to; Retreat, frequently to pray! #keepthefaith #powerofprayer #praymore #staywithGod

THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY

THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY

Good day esteemed beloved, I hope everyone is still well and in good health.

Comprehend there is a cost to be paid for accomplishing anything of importance. You should follow through on the cost. Life will allow you to pull off something for some time, however eventually, you will follow through on the cost. All that you do in life causes the impacts that you experience. At the point when you get the bill, be ready to pay.

Dreams expect up front installments. Dreams are free, yet the excursion isn't. There is a cost to pay. In the first place, you should follow through on the cost of managing analysis from individuals who matter. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong." You should follow through on the cost of defeating your apprehensions. Disappointment, dismissal, and looking silly are normal apprehensions however, they are simply sentiments that can be vanquished and eliminated from your viewpoints. Finally, you should follow through on the cost of difficult work to understand your fantasy.

One of the guidelines life has shown me is that we generally have to make a decision. At the point when we say we "can't," we normally mean we're simply not ready to address the cost.

I accept that anybody who is significant and resolved to address the cost of learning, discipline and making the right moves aligned correctly at the perfect opportunities can accomplish and turn out to be monetarily effective. Also, having determination and constant pursuit are extraordinary characteristics, that will help.

What is it that you wish or dream to achieve? Whatever it is, there's a price you'll have to pay. Is it good grades at school? It won't just happen by osmosis; you'll have to put in the hours. Is it excellence in all you do? Is it great relationship with God? You have to be intentional about it and put time aside to spend it with Him. Whatever it is you desire, there's a price to purchase it. You can argue and say, "but God will open that door for me." Sure yeah, He will. But you'll need to sharpen that which He gave you. David kept sharpening his skills daily killing bears and lions until he got to slay Goliath. #thereisapricetopay #excellence #cost #courage #difficulties #difficultiesoflife #dreams #hardwork #lifelessons #pain #pay #perseverance #persistence #risk #rules #sacrifice #success

HELLO JUNE

Blessed new month beloved, it's been a while, I hope everyone is still well and in good health. It is June already! Since lockdown, time feels like such a warped concept; fleeting yet standing still.

Please note that the devil can use traumatic experiences as opportunities to conspire with our flesh and brainwash us with propaganda and lies. The enemy will remind you that you are broken because of your trauma; but God will remind you that you are victorious in-spite of your trauma. Viewing difficult situations with Godly lenses and responding in healthy ways strengthens us. We grow psychologically and we become more spiritually mature. The Bible calls this "renewing the mind," and it leads to transformed, abundant living. When adversity presents itself, God is Sovereign! #rememberthat #lifehopeinspired

CHANGE THE NARRATIVE

Happy Wednesday beloved, it's halfway to the weekend. I hope you guys are still well and in good health.

Let your exceptional awesomeness and positive energy inspire confidence in others. Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. If you want light to come to your life, you need to stand where it is shining. Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.

Release the urge to keep up. Instead, believe and trust the path you are on. The good things in store for you and your life will not pass you by.

This month I've been really working on "own lane, own pace." I'm letting go of that happiness comes from constantly being up to date with the trends in the world or even the notion that there is a collective benchmark of where I should be financially, spiritually, physically or even personally based on my age.

There is no benchmark, there is no finish line, there is no expectation or standard I need to attain... there's just my purpose, my life and my destiny and that's all you need to keep up with. I hope you learn to do the same. #stayconsistent #believeit #itwillhappen #trusttheprocess #affirm #successmindset

DON'T OVERLOOK GOD'S PROVISIONS

Blessed Sunday beloved, I hope you are still well and in good health. The supreme test of goodness is not in the greater, but in the smaller incidents of our character and practice. Gratitude changes the narrative.

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, "Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean." - 2 Kings 5:10 KJV

When Naaman was told to go and deep himself seven times in the Jordan river he was hesitant at first. The Bible says even as he strolled towards the river he was angered in spirit. He would have opted for a better river, Abana or even Pharpar but he got the dirty one! Naaman wanted water that matched his credentials but instead, he got water that matched his condition. Tell me, how many have allowed their dignity to mess up their deliverance? How many have allowed their socio status and uppity character to mess up their chance at being healed of leprosy?

Sometimes God will humble you so good and allow the miracle you need to be in the hands of the one person you never thought would ever qualify to bless you. In the case of Naaman the captive (Rhoda) blessed the captain. Stop overlooking even the simplest and smallest voices around you. God can use anybody and anything, anywhere and anyhow. #behumble #havefaith #dontoverlook #grace #provisions

TAKE NOTE 📍

I hope you all had a blessed Sunday.

Service is precarious. The more you desire to work for God the more you need to manage ambition. It's not like a career really, in this field if you push too hard with your own strength the less it is about God and His people and the more it ends up being about you. The lesson learnt is to desire to be used at the highest level you were created to be used for His sake. Not yours, He dictates the terms!

HIDE SOMETIMES

Blessed Sunday beloved, I hope you are still well and in good health. I hope also that you are ready to enter another gear as we strive forth in our quest for deeper connection and understanding of the Word of God.

"And He withdrew Himself into the wilderness, and prayed." - Luke 5:16 KJV

On several occasions the Bible speaks of how, Jesus withdrew Himself to go into the wilderness to pray. The word 'withdrew' proves that there was a discontinuation of services that Jesus once offered to the people. This was a deliberate and intentional action. He would leave those that needed healing, miracles, a touch, a word, all so that He would consecrate Himself in the secret place.

Presently in the event that Jesus could pull out Himself, how considerably more would it be advisable for you do likewise? We have people that would rather show up than "remain stowed away"... all in the name of people need me." When will we understand that we can't grant a Divine being we do not commune with? Closeness and association with God are so significant.

You cannot keep giving milk to a generation that's banking on receiving meat from you. Great people that we call great today are continuously pruned and molded in the secret place. Power is generated in the secret place. However, we need it to be simple.

Never disregard your relationship with God under the supposition that help is service. You could very well demonstrate the acts of a God you barely know, but on that faithful day, your disciples will make it to heaven and He will tell you... "but I never knew you." Learn to hide sometimes!

HELLO MAY

Blessed new month beloved! I hope everyone is well and in good health.

The Bible says,"...in the fullness of time, the Lord will make it right" (Isaiah 60:22). There's a time allocated to the manifestation of certain happenings. Miracles are not random they are deliberate to divine pattern and divine seasons. It is my prayer that in this month, what you've been waiting for will take place, in God's fullness of time. May you collide with that long-awaited miracle. May God reward your faithfulness and decorate your testimony with victory. That the blessed may call you blessed and the great may announce you to be greater. Let it be so in Jesus' name! #beblessed #graceupongrace #loved #saved

ACT UPON YOUR WORDS

Living by testimony is more powerful than living by title. Since words are based on evidence and evidence based on information and information based on action, I learn to act before my words. Success will speak on my behalf.

CHANGE AND TRANSFORM

Happy Friday! I hope you guys are still good and in good health. These days I'm holding on to God's Word like I'm holding on to it for dear life! That Word is irrevocable, imperishable, alive, sharp, prolific, performative, active, potent and at your disposal. Try it!!

Just a gentle reminder:

Don't just learn, experience.
Don't just read, absorb.
Don't just change, transform.
Don't just relate, advocate.
Don't just criticise, encourage.
Don't just take, give.
Don't just dream, do.
Don't just hear, listen.
Don't just talk, act.
Don't just exist, live!

I've made a vow to myself to really be present in every experience and moment of my life this year... good or bad, you are allowed to feel everything but also allow it to grow you. #bepresent #change #transform #makeavow #keepthefocus #donttakeitforgranted #lifehopeinspired
