HAPPY YOUTH DAY

Hi beloved, I hope you are still well and in good health. On this day, we celebrate the 46th anniversary of the June 16, 1976 student uprising in Soweto. Let us contribute to honour the contribution of the youth in the struggle for the liberation of South Africa, as well embrace and celebrate the legacy left behind for the current and future. Let your exceptional awesomeness and positive energy inspire confidence in others.

Release the urge to keep up. Instead, believe and trust the path you are on. The good things in store for you and your life will not pass you by. "You are fantastic; do you know that? Our freedom, in a very large measure was due to what young people such as yourselves did 40 years ago not very far from where we lived in Soweto where Hector Pieterson was shot and killed. But you are fantastic. Reach for your stars, because now you can be anything and everything you want to be." - Archbishop Desmond Tutu

If you feel a sense of discouragement with the way things are or a sense of frustration that things are not the way you want them to be, these words are for you. There are many times when we can all feel like giving in or giving up on a goal or a dream that we have worked so hard to achieve. That's why it is so important that you never forget your own why you started and why the goal is so important and why it is so necessary to see it through. Once your heart reconnects with "your why" the motivation and strength to keep going will be unleashed from within. So, always be positive in life and live it with happiness and hope. Wishing you a very Happy Youth Day. On the occasion of Youth Day, promise yourself to become a responsible youth, to work for the development and brighter future of the country. May you always shine bright! #youthday #youthmonth #youthempowerment #youthdevelopment #stayconsistent #believeit #itwillhappen
