FORGIVENESS ABOUNDS

"Are you sure, Peter?" Jesus said. "In fact, before the rooster crows a few hours from now, you will have denied me three times." - Matthew 26:34 TPT

Peter never thought it was possible, that he would betray Jesus. That he would mess up so badly that it would hurt someone he loved deeply. Listen, sometimes we can mess up and surprise ourselves, but it doesn't surprise God. He knew Peter. And If Jesus told Peter that he was going to deny Him, don't you think He knew we'd fall too? Don't you think he knew you'd fornicate? Commit adultery? Steal? Cheat? Lie? Betray your loved ones?

God knew when and how you were going to mess up long before you did. And I'm here to tell you that, He forgives you. Not in part, He forgives you so sufficiently that He has kept no record of your wrong doings. #riseup #victorious #forgiven #loved #grace #mercy

HELLO APRIL

Blessed new month beloved! I hope everyone is well and in good health.

"The fountain of your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before you. You will not despise my tenderness as I bow down humbly at your feet." - Psalms 51:17 TPT

God doesn't show mercy to a heart full of pride, He always shows mercy to a contrite, surrendered heart. That is why, in the book of Luke 18:40, when the blind man was crying out, "Son of David, have mercy on me"... Jesus was demanded by the systems of divine integrity to stand and pay attention. There were masses around Him, the clock was ticking, He had a mission to fulfil, but because a contrite heart was crying out to Him, the Jesus had to stop!

In Isaiah chapter 6, after beholding God, the Prophet said, "Who am I for l am undone in your presence, I have unclean lips, surrounded by unclean men, yet my eyes have seen the Lord." His acknowledgement of his inadequacy ushered him into a realm where He could see God and experience His mercy. The Bible says, "it was at the show of mercy that his iniquity was taken away." Every great man and woman are a product of God's mercy. In all fairness, if you'd be honest with yourself, you will never credit the results of your greatness to qualifications or intellect. God's mercies have really qualified you to experience the supernatural.

Deuteronomy 8 warns us that, once you succeed, you might be tempted to say, "my power and exalt the might of your hand." Because often, when the spotlight is on you, it becomes embarrassing to credit the honor to another. There is something about men and our itch and desire to be celebrated.

But God says, "there are men and women that will rise in these end times, you'll look for where the wow factor is in their lives, and you won't find it because it is hidden in the mercy of God invested in their lives at the instance of their brokenness."

Behind their frailties will be the jealousy of the true living God. They'll rise and all you'll trace it back to will not be their qualifications but their brokenness before the Lord. Praying that you all have an amazing month, may God be your guiding light. #graceupongrace #lovedbyGod #staywithGod #lifehopeinspired

PREOCCUPIED WITH ONESELF

I always knew I was different. Not out of arrogance but out of the realisation that I barely fitted in settings that were default and created to limit my unique ambitions. It was difficult to exist in spaces that dictated how I was to turn out. Whenever I felt my wings were clipped and my ability to fly clinched, I became uncomfortable, never conforming and always wanting more and better against all odds. To the extent that some assumed I was the most difficult to handle because I asked questions, I wanted to know who said what, why I couldn't go beyond the set "red tape", and why only certain individuals were allowed and not the rest of us.

Somewhat, almost like a rebel, I saw a lot of barriers that were set and created to disbar individuals from dream, from aspiring to break free and pierce the glass ceilings. Now the breakthrough eventually came when I discovered my purpose. I realised it was possible to go beyond the towing line, to pierce the glass ceilings and break open some doors. One had to refuse to be told certain privileges and certain spaces belonged to a certain few. If anything, I was a certain few, I decided to go for it.

I think that everyone should! It's our birth right anyways! Just shoot your shot, go after what is yours and don't let made up red tapes and manufactured lines derail you. Have a nice weekend. #selflove #selfcentered

STAY CONSISTENT

Sometimes being at the right place at the right time is the grace we require to fuel up our progress. Everything begins within the mind and if you believe you've lost and you're down and out before the challenge begins, well then, you've already lost for the most part.

Consistency in what I do has proven to produce better results than talent. I therefore choose to be consistent

Start on the inside, conquer your mind, cultivate beliefs that will build you up, not tear you down. I could go on, but you get the gist yeah. Ok, go on and have an enjoyable day, go be great. #stayaligned #stayconsistent

HELLO MARCH

Hello Family, I missed you all so much. I greet you all with the blessings of the Lord!

I have been spending some time in prayer and l have come to realise that the subject of God will always serve as a system of advantage in our lives that proves that the best of man has been examined in time and has still been found to fail. We are extremely inadequate in ourselves and can only be filled through the filling of Christ! Even Peter's skill was tested and tried, but failed, for when mercy is ready to work, you don't need the boat, you need too only find Jesus!

As the year has started off, there are distinct and particular lessons and teachings you must hear and live by as a child of God, these teachings will be the wings that will carry you through the rest of the year. Have you found Jesus? And if you have how well are you wearing Him? Are you a written epistle that shows the world what it means to be born again?

I know January and February were a difficult months for a lot of people. Some were nervous about new ventures, jobs, goals while others were trying to acclimate to loss of loved ones, of jobs, or even the loss of a dream... but despite every storm faced till now our hope still remains; God is present! In every season, in every situation, God is present and He will provide you with what it is you seek, that which you lack! God shall provide.

There is no person who became great within the dignity of kingdom systems, that did not go through adversity. Greatness is sharpened and forged in the furnace of adversity, don't fight it, embrace it. Don't question it, trust God in it. The generations that are to come will talk only of those who obtained God's promise through faith, patience, wit and fighting power!

God is about to shift things in your life, to steer you away from your ordinary routines, and bring forth a wealth of blessings. Accept the uncomfortable environment; it will all work out in your favour! #staywithGod

WALK IN YOUR POWER

Happy new year; happy new month everyone. May this one be the best one yet!

Be careful of the roots of the words you use to describe yourself. I pray that this year you will realise that as beautiful as "strength" is. The problem starts when we seldom hear that certain types of people are stronger. Instead, we hear about 'strong' people in the context of 'power.'

You see my problem with the connotations of strength is that its disposition is painful. For most of us our strength emanates from pain, oppression, opposition, fear, and guilt, you name it. And in fact, we are always strong because we are almost always fighting a struggle.

I am teaching myself to get back to a place of drawing strength from my seat of power and not the opposition of pain, place of authority and not defense. A state of being and not of function.

For me... it begins with mastering that power and then conquering whatever it is that dominates you so you will know which battle is yours. Not every day is easy, the journey itself is hard, even for me. I have to constantly remind myself that not every yoke is my portion. Not every obstacle requires me to go to war. That is the true art of battle. Understanding that strength and power are two very different things. Strength requires that we exercise it to prove to ourselves and others that it exists. Power, well that's a whole other ballgame. Power is a state of being. It is when other people exercise their strength when you walk into a room in your power! #powerofpositivity #knowyourvalue

BE METICULOUS

I am a very reserved person, which is both my weakness and strength. I don't make decisions in a rush, I am slow to anger and sometimes I see things and keep them to myself for peace sake, I believe that's strength too.

Then comes the weaknesses being a reserved person can make people undermine you just because you don't say much and you are calm, people are used to chaos and being bullied that when they meet a different person, they think they can take advantage of them, another weakness is delay, because you are reserved person, you take time before you unfold, sometimes situations force you to unfold quickly just to stretch you a bit.

However, everything you need, everything you want for your life, is within you. You have been created in such a way that everything about you compliments your life, your dreams no matter how big you think they are, you have bigger capacities inside of you, your weaknesses work together with your strengths to give the end product of who you are supposed to be if you let them.

I am reserved but courageous so when fear sneaks in telling me what I can't do because I am not loud, the courage walks in and tells me exactly why I am the right person to do it because I am not loud. I learned not to hate myself for the things I am not instead I look at all that I am not, and I see opportunities of who I can be, because inside of me there is a whole lot more than my weaknesses.

The same with you... if right now there are people who are aware of what you lack, your weakness and possibilities are all these people think you won't make it, don't be the next person to bring you down, be aware of your weaknesses and know that they don't make you a disqualified candidate, there is so much more in you that makes you over qualified, that makes you deserving, that makes you worthy, that makes you amazing as much as you are aware of your weaknesses, your past, your background be aware of the wisdom too, the perseverance, the patience too and the kindness that makes you worthy of the position you want, the business you are about to open, the lives you're about to touch and watch as your weaknesses work together with your strengths to create the force that you are. You make so much sense, as complicated as you are, you make so much sense.

GOOD NEWS WE OVERCAME

There's a distinctly un-festive atmosphere this year, but nonetheless, we've got to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

"And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn."- Luke 2:6‭-‬7 KJV

The event referred to in the above scripture is one that leads to the salvation of mankind. After the angel of God prophesied to Mary that she would carry the Son of God (Luke 1:1-38), Mary indeed fell pregnant. During the time of a census that was taking place, Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem to be counted there because Joseph was a descendant of David. When they arrived in Bethlehem, there was no room for them at the inn because of the crowds that had come to Bethlehem. They were forced to find accommodation in a keeping place for animals. While they were there, Mary gave birth to our Lord Jesus.

Please note the lowliness of the place God chose for His birth. As a King, He could have chosen to manifest as a privileged ruler, but He intentionally chose to be born in meekness like one of us. He set aside His divine privileges and He gave up His glory to be born in a keeping place for animals. There is a reason His birth was not high-profile or in the most elegant of places, however. His humble birth conveyed an amazing message to all mankind. He wanted lowly people like us to have free access to Him. This was to welcome us to His kingdom.

When we celebrate Christmas, we need to be reminded that God left His comfort and riches in heaven and subjected Himself to being poor and owning nothing just so that we can have access to Him and His glorious riches. This is how important you are to the Father. Jesus was carried in the womb and was born through natural means as a dependent new-born like us. Can you imagine the kind of love that drove God to become human just for you? Christ manifestation was a reflection of God's character and heart.

The Lord humbled Himself so that the scripture in Isaiah 61:1-2 may come to pass in our lives. Those who have received Him are no longer poor; their lives are now enriched. Most of us ran to Him with broken hearts and the merciful Lord mended them back together. He assumed a lower position so that captives are set free, and we are free indeed. We were blind but now we can see. He came to restore all that was lost and to bring favour and goodwill upon mankind.

He paraded the forces of evil in defeat, and this is the reason we must celebrate Christmas. May you enjoy all the benefits of the cross keeping in mind everything that the Lord went through for you in the name of Jesus Christ!

Take note: Be safe on and off the roads remember to apply the Covid-19 precaution measures and most importantly stay blessed, this year is almost over and we know most of us have our hopes up high for the next year but whatever it may be let's all stay strong and be prepared for whatever it throws at us because worry has no transformational value. #HappyHolidays #HappyFestiveSeason #BestWishes #Family #StaySafe

DON'T ABDICATE YOUR LIFE

DON'T ABDICATE YOUR LIFE

Don't be envious. Don't be jealous. Don't covert another's life. Most importantly, don't let your mood, emotions, self-worth, and self-esteem be controlled by other people's seconds of impression management.

Don't forget that a photo captures a second in time. It is just a little glimpse. A brief snippet of reality. Not all the reality. And that second can be staged and photoshopped. We are creatures that are excellent at impression management to manipulate how we are seen by the world.

However, deep within, sadness, unfulfillment, and insecurities remain, untouched by outward appearances. They cannot be deceived. I am grateful for the love, support, guidance, advice, and encouragement I've received. Yet, it's essential to always maintain perspective.

Just like we can never know what happens behind closed doors. So, it is also true that we don't know what other people's lives are genuinely like beyond those captured seconds. Stay grounded and fulfilled with your own life. Your view of your life is 24/7... that is the one you should truly focus on. Nourish; make it better today than it was yesterday. You can draw inspiration from other people's captured seconds. But don't let those images rule and influence the quality of your life and your joy.

Happy holidays, guys; take care! #love #selflove #selfcare #appreatiateyourlovedones #festiveseason #happiness #happyholidays

REST AND HEAL

Happy Friday loved ones. Taking time off to rest and recalibrate is as important as moving forward. Don't wear yourself out as you journey along, take some time off to rest. Take diligent care of yourself. Relax. Isolate and center yourself back. It doesn't all have to happen today; you can try again tomorrow!

Nobody talks about how hard it is to transition; we don't talk about the transitioning period enough. From being single to getting into a relationship; from studying to working, from marriage to divorce, from being carefree to becoming a parent, from having family to suffering loss... we don't talk about the season of transitioning because we are just ready to get to the other side, we overlook this season of pain, anxiety, shock and honestly confusion.

I've been thinking about how as humans we are good at suppressing our emotions because we are told to be grateful for what's coming or told "but you turned out okay". You don't have to be okay if you are struggling with change right now, whether it's good or bad change it's okay for you to feel overwhelmed by it all, it doesn't make you less grateful it makes you human.

Beloved, keep this in mind, any type of change will come with new dynamics and unexpected anxiety. Don't suppress those emotions you are feeling. Deal with them, embrace them and get through them. #recalibrate #readjust #restandrecharge #loveyourselfalways #takecareofyourself #dontgiveup

THE DICTUM OF LIFE

Happy new Month beloved, here's a little reminder: If you want to be the greatest, serve the best. Jesus has given the best of service to all humanity; hence He is the King above all. Make up your mind to be a faithful servant and whatever work you are given to do, do unto completion with all sincerity and cheerfulness of heart. May God enlighten the eyes of your understanding.

"For by strength [alone] shall no man prevail." - 1 Samuel 2:9b (KJV)

The word translated strength in the above scripture comes from the Hebrew word 'Koach' which can be translated strength, power, ability, skill, or any prowess a person can possess. Now bringing it home, in the world today, we have people we know or have heard of to possess great academic, financial, spiritual and social 'Koach'. We admire them for the great feats that they perform, display, and portray in the audience of the whole world and for their awe-inspiring achievements. But if we zoom in into their lives, something is not right. Behind the name of that famed billionaire, praised scholar, celebrated entertainer there is a tormented soul screaming out for help. What am I saying, you may ask? Well, let's turn to the bible for some clarity.

Ecclesiastes 5:19 (CEB)
God gives people wealth and riches and enables them to enjoy it, to accept their place in the world and to find pleasure in their hard work, all this is God's gift.

Deuteronomy 8:18-19 (KJV)
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth... And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

From the above scriptures, we appreciate that it is God who gives the power to get wealth and the ability to enjoy it. Some people only have the former, they take no pleasure in what they worked hard to earn. Sickness, loneliness, addictions, agitation and turmoil's steal their strength to enjoy what they work hard for. How this need not be. All you have to do is remember the true God and deny money, praise or fame the place of God in your life.

Psalm 20:7-8 (KJV)
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright." #sticktotheword #lovetheword #befaithful #servehumanity
