Don't forget that a photo captures a second in time. It is just a little glimpse. A brief snippet of reality. Not all the reality. And that second can be staged and photoshopped. We are creatures that are excellent at impression management to manipulate how we are seen by the world.
However, deep within, sadness, unfulfillment, and insecurities remain, untouched by outward appearances. They cannot be deceived. I am grateful for the love, support, guidance, advice, and encouragement I've received. Yet, it's essential to always maintain perspective.
Just like we can never know what happens behind closed doors. So, it is also true that we don't know what other people's lives are genuinely like beyond those captured seconds. Stay grounded and fulfilled with your own life. Your view of your life is 24/7... that is the one you should truly focus on. Nourish; make it better today than it was yesterday.
