WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS

WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS

"Carry each other's burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a few years and be absolutely perplexed and awed at how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful or where you've always wanted to be. You'll beam off gratitude at how things didn't work out the way you once wanted them to. Elegance is not about being noticed but being remembered.

DON'T PUT TO MUCH PRESSURE ON YOURSELF

I've been writing the chapter in my notes about "Becoming" about how so many of us are so focused on the end goal, the finish line, on becoming that we totally forget to be.

We forget to be present, be happy, be patient, be consistent, be content. We live in our thoughts that drive us to think that right now is not enough, and instead of embracing the current season and taking the lessons from it; we spend the whole time unhappy living a life of barrenness that seems to be yielding no results. But after going through this season countless times myself I finally understood the importance of being before I could become, the importance of every season.

The Bible says, "Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." - ‭Matthew 6:34 #moreaboutthisinmybook

MAINTAIN YOUR PASSION FOR THE GOSPEL

"But that which ye have already hold fast till I come." - Revelation 2:25

As a Christian, everyday consistently presents opportunities for you to keep the faith and maintain your confession of who Jesus is and what He means to you. Nothing should take away your focus to Jesus Christ. He's all that genuinely matters. Declare your love for Him and your enthusiasm for the Gospel.

Sometimes anger or bitterness can douse your zeal and effectiveness in ministering to others. Hebrews 12:15 says, "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled." Don't stop preaching and teaching this gospel to convince more to be born again and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord as their personal Saviour. Note this: Don't become cold about the things of God because someone offended you.

The privileges of service we have in the house of God are sacrosanct; don't take them lightly. You've been endowed with the ability and grace to lead people to Christ, unveiling to them the mysteries of the Kingdom; keep at it. There's a crown of glory awaiting you at the end.

The Bible says those that go numerous to honorableness will sparkle as stars everlastingly (Daniel 12:3). Continue sparkling evermore in driving or leading numerous to Christ. Let it be your life's work and priority.

Further study:

"So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith." - Romans 1:15‭-‬17

SMILE WHILE AT IT

Smile, laugh, and love, for God is always at work. Just because you can't see any changes now doesn't mean He has stopped working. I...
