TALENT IS UNIVERSAL BUT OPPORTUNITY IS NOT

 I have experienced the “insider-outsider” dynamic firsthand.

The strange reality of being capable, qualified, and willing to contribute, yet often overlooked simply because you are not in the right circles, connected to the right people, or close enough to the centres of influence.

It’s the experience of standing at the door, knowing you have something valuable to offer, while opportunities seem reserved for those already inside the room.

This is not merely a personal frustration. It is a reality faced by many young people and marginalised communities across our country, individuals whose potential remains unseen, not because it is absent, but because access is.

Too often, people are defined by what was prescribed for them rather than what is possible for them.

They are told who they are before they are given the chance to discover who they can become.

And therein lies one of our greatest challenges.

Talent is universal. Opportunity is not.

My passion is to challenge this reality and contribute to building a society where proximity is not mistaken for potential, where access is not confused with ability, and where people are evaluated on merit rather than familiarity.

Because a nation reaches its full potential only when every person has a genuine opportunity to reach theirs.

It is my hope to shine a light on these overlooked spaces, amplify overlooked voices, and help drive the change we so desperately need.

The future of our country cannot belong only to the insiders. It must belong to everyone.

HELLO JUNE

Hello, friends.

It’s been a while.

The last time I posted here was on around January, and somehow we’ve already stepped into June. Time has a way of moving quietly while life keeps us busy.

I’ve genuinely missed this space.

I’ve missed sharing thoughts, lessons, Scriptures, encouragement, and those little reminders that help us keep our eyes fixed on God in a world that constantly tries to distract us.

The truth is, life has been full. There have been responsibilities, deadlines, lessons, victories, challenges, answered prayers, and moments of quiet reflection. Yet through it all, one thing has remained constant:

God has been faithful.

As I return, I find myself reflecting on how quickly seasons change.

A new month is more than a change of date; it’s another reminder that God is still writing our story. Some of us are entering June carrying gratitude. Others are carrying questions. Some are celebrating breakthroughs, while others are still waiting on promises.

But wherever you find yourself today, be encouraged:

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” - Lamentations 3:22-23

New month. New mercies. New opportunities to trust God.

And perhaps that’s the message I want to leave with you today:

Don’t allow what didn’t happen in May to rob you of expectation in June.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep building. Keep showing up.

The same God who carried you through yesterday is already waiting for you in tomorrow.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for growing with me. Thank you for allowing Life Hope Inspired By Nhlahla to be part of your journey.

I HAVE FOUND MY PEACE

 I’m a young man who has found his peace and I’m well aware I’m not everyone’s cup of tea.

I have learned to value my peace more than anything. I guard my energy, set clear boundaries and refuse to entertain anything that rattles my spirit or throws me off course. I know my worth and I won’t sit around entertaining disrespect, inconsistency, or being treated like a spare part.

I don’t kick up dust, plead my case, or waste breath explaining myself. I simply step back quietly, firmly and without losing sleep. After all, you don’t cast pearls before swine and protecting my peace is one of the greatest acts of self-respect I can offer myself.

Loving me means respecting my space, honoring my boundaries and appreciating the peace I’ve worked hard to build. Everything else is just noise.

HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY!

Today, I celebrate life, not just the years I’ve lived, but the man I’m continually becoming. I’m grateful for every experience that has shaped me, for the lessons that came through both joy and challenge and for the strength God has given me to keep growing with grace and purpose.

This year 2025 hasn’t been easy. I’ve walked through seasons I never expected, separation from people I loved, betrayal from those I trusted and moments where silence felt louder than company. I learned the hard way that not everyone you break bread with breaks burdens with you. But even in the storm, God stood by my side and that alone has been my anchor.

I thank God for His grace, for the people who truly see me and for the strength to keep showing up even when it’s hard. I’ve learned that peace is priceless, love is gentle and purpose is everything.

As I step into this new age, I pray for continued growth, divine protection and a life filled with joy, love and meaning. 

May everything I give to the world return to me multiplied, in abundance, in peace and in love.

Here’s to 25, to growth, to gratitude and to living with intention and faith.

GOD'S ASTONISHING WORK

 When Habakkuk cried out to God, the Lord responded, "Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told." - Habakkuk 1:5, ESV

AMAZING GRACE

"Through many dangers, toils, and snares,

 I have already come;

'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,

And grace will lead me home."

There's something powerful about looking back and recognising that it wasn't strength, strategy, or skill alone that carried us, but grace. Undeserved, unwavering, and ever-present.

May we continue walking forward with gratitude and trust, knowing the same grace that sustained us yesterday will guide us through tomorrow.

STILL STANDING, STILL GRATEFUL

 Hi friends, it's been a minute!

I hope everyone is doing well and in good health.

It's been quite a while since I've been active on here, and today, I felt it was the right time to pause and share a little from the heart.

First and foremost, I give all glory and honour to God. His grace and mercies have truly sustained me. If someone had said to me 2 years ago that I'd be where I am today, I would have smiled in disbelief but look at God. A God thing, indeed.

"This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes." - Psalm 118:23

There were moments when I didn't even have the strength to pray with words, but God's presence was enough. I've come out of those times not just intact but transformed, stronger, wiser, and more grounded to Him.

God has walked me through valleys I never imagined I could endure. In the wilderness, I felt His covering. In uncertainty, I heard His voice. In exhaustion, I saw His excellence.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned." - Isaiah 43:2

These past few months have been intense, a blur of work, long days, back-to-back responsibilities, and tight timelines. Life seemed to move very fast, yet even in the hustle, God's hand was steady. Each day felt packed, but I saw God in the details: in small wins, breakthroughs in a tough situation, quiet days, and the clarity in the chaos.

Through it all, God has been my anchor. 

"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You." - Isaiah 26:3

I believe wholeheartedly that greater things are ahead. I know that God has great things in store, not just for me, but for all who trust in Him.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him." - 1 Corinthians 2:9

So, wherever you are today, I hope this reminds you that you're not alone. God is working, even in silence. Keep your heart open, your faith strong, and your eyes fixed on Him.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025!

Another year to celebrate God's faithfulness! It's been a journey through uncharted territory, relying solely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Above all, I'm deeply grateful for the gift of the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. 

This past year 2024 has taught me one profound truth: "Kungu ra Xikwembu a ri nge siveriwi hi munhu!" 

My path grows ever brighter, leading toward the perfect day in Christ.  

The mission remains steadfast: to make known the fragrance of His knowledge in every place! I am called to bring salvation to the nations, to rebuild broken walls in society, and to raise a generation of Kings and Priests unto the Lord, walking in the order of Melchizedek. This is my heritage, my inheritance.  

With boldness, I declare that the stone the builders rejected has become the Chief Cornerstone! A rock of offense to some and a stone of stumbling to others, but steadfast and unshakable.

I hope you're all doing well. It's New Year's Eve, and I'm so excited! The countdown has started!

As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the dawn of a brand-new year 2025, my heart overflows with gratitude. This year has been a testament to God's goodness, faithfulness, and the power of His grace. He has rewritten my story and continues to do amazing things.  

As we step into 2025, I declare it will be a year like no other: a year of restoration, reunion, re-establishment, and recompense.

I hold on to the promise of Isaiah 43:19:

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

Let's step into 2025 with gratitude, purpose, hope, and faith that the best is yet to come. Cheers to new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and endless possibilities!

THE POWER OF GIVING WITH WISDOM

Hi friends, it's been a minute! I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful Christmas yesterday. I've been reflecting on this for a while now, and I finally feel ready to share it.

I've noticed how easy it is for people to become entitled or ungrateful for the generosity they receive, assuming you have to give simply because you can. But that's not true, and it's important to set boundaries. 

During this festive season, be kind with your resources, don't overextend yourself to the point of vulnerability whether financial, emotional, or spiritual. Protect your growth and peace by being intentional with how and where you give.  

True generosity comes from the heart, but it's essential to recognise when it's being taken for granted. When you give too much without boundaries, people can lose sight of your value beyond what you provide. They may grow attached to your actions rather than appreciating the love and intention behind them.   

Remember, your worth is not measured by what you can offer, but by the essence of who you are. Protect your heart by giving with balance and ensuring your kindness is met with respect and appreciation. Let your love be cherished for its sincerity, not just your hand.

You deserve to be loved and valued for who you are, not for what you provide. True relationships thrive on authenticity, so when you share your heart, make sure it's met with the same compassion and care you offer. This season and beyond, give wisely and guard your peace.

Greetings, South Africa! Today, as we commemorate Reconciliation Day, I am reminded of the profound meaning this day holds in our nation's history and the lessons it offers us. It is a day to pause, reflect, to heal, and to embrace the transformative power of forgiveness; not just as a country, but as individuals. Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do, especially when we have been hurt deeply or betrayed. Holding on to anger or hurt only weighs us down, while forgiveness frees our hearts and opens the door to healing. "Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies." - Nelson Mandela These words remind us that forgiveness is not about others; it is about freeing ourselves. Life is not like in the movies. People who hurt us often move on, living their lives without regret or remorse. They are not dwelling on the pain they caused, and they rarely seek to make amends. But forgiveness is not for them; it is for us. It is a divine act of self-liberation, freeing us from the shackles of bitterness and allowing us to step into the future God has planned. As 1 John 2:19 reminds us, "They went out from us, but they were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us." So as we step forward into the future, let go of the desire for apologies that may never come. Stop waiting for someone to feel remorse or regret. Instead, embrace the truth: that rejection was God's protection. Those who rejected you, God plucked them out to shield you from something you didn't see. On this Reconciliation Day, let us honour the spirit of forgiveness that Mandela championed, not only as a nation but in our personal lives. Forgive without an apology. Heal, let go, and live fully. HELLO DECEMBER

As we step into the final month of 2024, I can't help but pause and reflect on the journey thus far. This year has been a tapestry of God's faithfulness, with moments of joy, lessons through challenges, and a deepening understanding of this truth: "God's plan is always greater than mine."

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Reflecting on 2024, I see how every step, even the unexpected detours, was part of His divine design for my growth and purpose. There were times I thought I knew what was best, only to be gently redirected by His hand to something far greater.

Isaiah 55:8-9 further reveals this truth: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." There were moments I questioned why certain doors closed or why my prayers seemed unanswered, but in hindsight, God was aligning me with His perfect will, teaching me to trust Him fully.

Through this year, I have learned that surrendering my plans to God isn't a loss; it's an invitation to something more profound. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight." This truth has anchored me, reminding me that God’s timing and purpose are always perfect.

As the Life Hope Inspired family, we wish you all a joyful season filled with gratitude, reflection, and hope. May this be a time to celebrate God's goodness, knowing that His plans for you are immeasurably more than you could ever imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I am a year older on this beautiful day. I give all glory to God for His unending mercies, goodness, favor, and blessings in my life. His grace has been steadfast through every chapter, and I will never take the gift of life for granted.

What a journey! What a God! I'm quite emotional because, on this day, God proved just how much He loves me. Through the highs and lows, He has been my anchor, shaping me into the person I am today; moments like these bring me to my knees in worship! My story is still being written, but I would be remiss not to thank God for how far He has brought me.

As I reflect on the past and look ahead to the future, my prayer remains the same: to know God more deeply and to live in a way that honors His divine purpose for my life. Proverbs 16:3 and Haggai 2:9 give me hope for the incredible things He has planned.

Here's to another year filled with joy, grace, success, and growth. May this next chapter be a testament to God's grace, mercy, and abundant blessings. I'm stepping into this season with confidence, gratitude, and a growth mindset, trusting that God will do exceedingly and abundantly more than I could ever imagine.

THE POWER OF SEEKING GOD'S DIRECTION

"You shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days. Also, seven priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark; then on the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets." - Joshua 6:3-4

And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers and lamps within the pitchers. And he said unto them, "Look on me, and do likewise; and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do. When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon." - Judges 7:16-18

God has consistently demonstrated through many encounters that He has His own way, often unconventional ways. His approach to each situation is deliberate, intimate, and tailored for His people. The strategies that brought victory in one season may not suffice in another. Moving from one level of glory to the next requires fresh instruction, new tools, and a different approach.

In high school, I could ace tests by cramming the night before, something many of us have likely tried. However, when I reached university, that same method failed me. My first accounting test was a humbling 30%, teaching me the hard way that preparation ahead of time was essential. Similarly, in our spiritual battles, the weapons that worked before won't always suffice. God often requires us to seek Him afresh for new strategies.

Time and again, God has delivered His people from insurmountable odds, each time with a specific message for us as His New Testament sons and daughters: You must inquire of Him to know the right weapon for the battle ahead. This is how we live as more than conquerors.

Consider Esther, running around King Xerxes would have accomplished nothing; her wisdom and timing saved Israel. Moses didn't lead Israel to victory by amassing an army; he trusted God to part the Red Sea. David didn't fight Goliath with grand speeches; he used a sling and stone. And above all, Jesus Christ secured eternal victory over the enemy through death on the cross, not by force or earthly power.

God is calling us to His arena of operation, where His wisdom guide will guide us on how to handle our life affairs. Are we willing to trust Him, even if it means wielding a sling before our Goliaths?

EMBRACING LIFE AGAIN: AWAKENING TO A NEW SEASON OF LIFE

This year I took a conscious decision to go into "exile". I locked myself up to deal with demanding seasons in my life. While I acknowledge the benefits of stopping and breathing, I also recognise that I stopped for too long that it almost became a paralysis. I almost positioned myself as an invalid waiting for someone to help me into the pool when the angel stirred the waters. 

I'm glad to announce that I have checked out of exile. The real me is awake, alive and ready to show up!

PAUSE AND REFLECT: THE IMPORTANCE OF KINDNESS

As we welcome this Friday, let's take a moment to reflect on something important: Never mock or belittle the pain that someone else is experiencing, especially if you haven't walked in their shoes. Life has a way of presenting challenges to each of us, and it's possible that you may find yourself facing similar struggles one day. Remember to always show empathy and compassion towards others.

Today, let's spread love and positivity wherever we go. Make this day one to remember by being kind, thoughtful, and understanding. SMILE WHILE AT IT

Smile, laugh, and love, for God is always at work. Just because you can't see any changes now doesn't mean He has stopped working. In fact when He pulls His sleeves up to be busy with your case, transformation is inevitable. Though it may feel like chaos and confusion are overwhelming your life right now, take heart! He is working! Don't rush ahead; instead, relax, have faith, and cherish the blessings around you. Before you know it, it will be morning!
