FEED ON THE RIGHT INFORMATION

"…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

In today's world, people are more particular about what they eat. While some eat the right food to stay healthy, they are those who, from eating all the wrong things, have put their health at risk. It's the same thing spiritually. As a Christian, you must feed on the right information. You must feed your faith with the Word of God. Some Christians would rather feed their fears than feed their faith. You feed your fears when you pay attention to wrong or noxious information.

The effect of feeding on wrong information in the life of a Christian may not be seen overnight; but with time, such a person gets weaker and weaker spiritually. Before long, he's no longer as fervent in spiritual things as he used to be. Then, his life takes a completely different turn from God's original plan. Give attention to the right information. Fortify and energize your spirit for success with God's Word. The forces of life are domiciled in your spirit; as you feed your spirit with the Word, you'll be able to produce every good thing you want in life from within you. Jesus said, ''A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things" (Matthew 12:35).

RELEASE YOUR HOPE

I want to share something with you today that will help your faith. It certainly has helped mine. I've heard people say, "I sure do hope so," I didn't give any consideration to it until I started living by faith, however then acknowledged how void faith and power that phrase is. I didn't understand why it was so unfilled when the Bible is full of the word hope. When I heard people say, "We're simply trusting and asking," my spirit would pull back, "unbelief!" my heart would cry why? Is trust an awful word? In no way, shape or form. The issue is that a great many people don't generally get it. The manner in which we utilise the word trust in regular discourse and the significance of expectation as utilised in the Bible are two distinct things. At the point when we state, "I trust so we basically imply I want or I wish. Book of scriptures trust isn't wishing in any way. it is sincere, confident, favorable, intense expectation and that is something else totally.

Colossians 1:23 talks about "the desire for the gospel." Acts 26:6 utilisations the expression "any desire for the guarantee" alluding to the pledge God made with Abraham. That sort of expectation is a sincere, exceptional desires that originates from God's guarantees. There's a huge contrast between "I wish something would occur, and I seriously anticipate that that should occur."

In Philippians 1:19 and 20, the Apostle Paul says; "for I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the spirit of Jesus Christ". As per my sincere desire and my expectation, that in nothing I will be embarrassed, however that will all intensity, as usual, so now likewise Christ will be amplified in the body, regardless of whether it be by life, or by death.

Here Apostle Paul utilised two Greek words together, one significance sincere desire and the other, deciphered expectation, which means something very similar. Those words can likewise be interpreted like this, "as indicated by my sincere, sure, serious desires." Usually when somebody is that eager over something, everybody needs to know why especially if that individual is anticipating something that looks unthinkable. That's why Hebrews 11:1 says "Faith is the substance, the supporting of things sought after." What's more, where does confidence originate from? "Confidence cometh by hearing, and hearing by the expression of God" see (Romans 10:17)

In any event, when there is no characteristic proof that what I trust in will happen, I can be hopeful since I have confidence in God's promise. Expectation won't work without faith, and confidence won't work without trust. Neither one of them will work without the word.
